The Practice
ARKA Services (SMC) Pvt Ltd was established in 2016 by Ar. Ahsan Raza Khokhar, following his graduation in architecture from the University of the Punjab in 2014 and professional practice across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
The firm began as a focused architectural practice serving clients in Lahore. It has since grown into a multidisciplinary studio with capabilities spanning architecture, landscape, interior design, 3D visualization and walkthrough animation, graphic design, and project management.
Today, ARKA operates from DHA Phase 1, Lahore, with a team of architects, engineers, draftsmen, and project managers. Our portfolio includes high-rise residential towers, corporate headquarters, hospitality venues, and private residences throughout Pakistan.
Design Philosophy
Architecture Serves Purpose
We reject the notion that buildings are sculptures. Architecture exists to shelter human activity. The measure of good design is not how it photographs—it is how it performs over decades of daily use.
Clarity Over Complexity
Complicated buildings are expensive to build and difficult to maintain. We pursue clarity: clear circulation, honest materials, straightforward construction.
Pakistan-Specific Design
We practice in Lahore. We understand Pakistani construction methods, material supply chains, labor capabilities, and climate conditions.
Integrated Delivery
Architecture is not a relay race. ARKA maintains involvement from first sketch through final inspection.

Ahsan Raza Khokhar graduated in architecture from the University of the Punjab in 2014 and established ARKA in 2016. He has led design teams across residential, commercial, hospitality, education and high-rise projects in Lahore, Rawalpindi and northern Pakistan.
