Architectural Future
ARKA Services & Architects was established in 2014 by Ar. Ahsan Raza Khokhar, following his graduation from the University of the Punjab and years of professional practice across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
The firm began as a focused architectural practice serving clients in Lahore. Over the past decade, ARKA has grown into a multidisciplinary studio with capabilities spanning architecture, interior design, 3D visualization, graphic design, and construction management.
Today, ARKA operates from its studio on Main Boulevard, DHA, Lahore, with a team of architects, engineers, draftsmen, and project managers. Our portfolio includes high-rise residential towers, corporate headquarters, hospitality venues, and private residences throughout Pakistan.
We work with developers, institutions, and private clients. Our projects range from 5-marla homes to 22-story mixed-use towers. Regardless of scale, our commitment remains consistent: deliver design that works, documentation that builds, and execution that delivers.

Design Philosophy
Architecture Serves Purpose
We reject the notion that buildings are sculptures. Architecture exists to shelter human activity. The measure of good design is not how it photographs—it is how it performs over decades of daily use.
Clarity Over Complexity
Complicated buildings are expensive to build and difficult to maintain. We pursue clarity: clear circulation, honest materials, straightforward construction. Simplicity is not primitive—it is the result of rigorous editing.
Pakistan-Specific Design
We practice in Lahore. We understand Pakistani construction methods, material supply chains, labor capabilities, and climate conditions. Our designs are not imported concepts forced onto local sites. They emerge from the reality of building here.
Integrated Delivery
Architecture is not a relay race. We do not hand drawings to engineers who hand to contractors who build something else entirely. ARKA maintains involvement from first sketch through final inspection.

Climate Response
Lahore experiences extreme heat, monsoon rains, and cool winters. Orientation, shading, natural ventilation, and thermal mass are fundamental to habitable buildings.
Construction Reality
We design for local contractors and craftsmen. This means understanding masonry practices, available steel sections, typical concrete strengths, and realistic tolerances.
Material Availability
We work with locally sourced stone, brick, concrete, and steel. Imported materials are used strategically, not defaulted to.
Regulatory Navigation
Building approvals, plot regulations, height restrictions—we manage the administrative dimensions of construction so clients can focus on their buildings.

How We Work
Direct Communication
Clients work directly with project architects. There are no account managers or intermediaries. The person who designs your building is the person who answers your calls.
Honest Assessment
We tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. If a program does not fit a site, we say so. If a budget is unrealistic, we explain why.
Documentation Standards
Our drawings are complete. Dimensions are verified. Details are resolved before construction, not during. This protects clients from change orders.

We conduct regular site visits throughout construction. We review contractor submittals. We verify material quality.

Ahsan Raza Khokhar established ARKA in 2014 following his architecture degree from the University of the Punjab. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has led multidisciplinary teams across residential, commercial, hospitality, and high-rise projects throughout Pakistan.

Sarosh Ahsan brings creative direction and business leadership to ARKA. With a background in graphic design and visual communication, he oversees brand development, client relations, and studio operations.
