Ownership Statement
All architectural designs, drawings, renderings, specifications, concepts, and related materials created by ARKA Services & Architects are protected intellectual property. This includes work product for client projects as well as general design studies, concepts, and portfolio materials.
Copyright Protection
Architectural works, technical drawings, and design documents are protected under copyright law. This protection extends to:
- Schematic designs and concept drawings
- Design development documents
- Construction drawings and specifications
- Interior design layouts and details
- 3D models and renderings
- Presentation materials
- Written specifications and reports
Copyright protection exists from the moment of creation. Registration is not required for protection to apply.
Client Rights
Clients engaging ARKA's services receive rights to use project deliverables as specified in their professional services agreement. Standard provisions include:
Upon Full Payment
- License to use drawings for construction of the specific project
- License to use renderings for project marketing
- Right to occupy and use the completed building
Retained by ARKA
- Copyright ownership of drawings and documents
- Right to use project documentation for portfolio, marketing, and awards
- Right to create derivative works based on design concepts
- Right to replicate design elements in future projects
Specific rights may vary by agreement. Review your contract for applicable terms.
Prohibited Uses
Without express written permission from ARKA, you may not:
- Reproduce drawings or designs for use on other properties
- Modify drawings and represent them as your own work
- Share documents with third parties not involved in the specific project
- Use renderings or photographs in ways not authorized by agreement
- Reverse-engineer designs or extract proprietary methods
- Claim authorship of ARKA-created work
Design Concept Protection
Preliminary concepts, design options, and presentation materials shared during project development remain ARKA's intellectual property. If a project does not proceed to contract, all concept materials must be returned or destroyed. Concepts may not be implemented without ARKA's engagement.
Infringement
ARKA actively protects its intellectual property. If you become aware of unauthorized use of ARKA's work, please contact: legal@arka.pk
We pursue appropriate remedies for infringement, including legal action where warranted.
Portfolio Rights
ARKA retains the right to photograph, document, and publish completed projects for portfolio, marketing, awards, and educational purposes. This right is standard in architectural practice and is included in our professional services agreements.
Client confidentiality is respected. Sensitive information is not disclosed without permission.
